After what has been forever—at least in Internet-land—Bassic-Sax.com is back. This is in zero thanks to GoDaddy, who fubared up our original website migration over to our new VPS, and sent all of my websites (about 9 in total) and all of Pete’s, into the realm of Internet nothingness.
I long ago learned that to rely too heavily on techs at hosting companies will often leave you burned… Which is exactly what happened to both Pete and I.
The real Bassic Sax site got back up and running due to all the crazy ass amount of work that Pete did. His site however, never did get up and running again. Why? Because he simply had too much work and stuff going on in his life. Sax websites just kinda’ went to the sidelines for the time being.
This week I finally decided to see if I could get this, which is really nothing more than my test-site, back up and running. The trick was to not have it screw up my real site. Yeah!!! I pulled it off.
So if you are looking for Bassic Sax, you are close, but only off by the .info extension. The link above will get you there.
Bassic-Sax.com on the other hand, is the site where I test stuff to make sure it doesn’t crash my real site made up of thousands of pages that has been built over the course of 20+ years by many, many people.
I might own Bassic Sax on paper, but the work done represents thousands of hours by A LOT of different people from many countries, and even continents.
To all of them, I say: Thank You!! You have helped make Bassic Sax.info one of the most important saxophone resources on the Internet.
Meanwhile, back to bassic-sax.com
So now that we have all this out of the way, move along there is nothing to see here. 😆 Kidding… But seriously there isn’t.
If you want to poke around, feel free to, but be warned: If you read stuff that offends you, that’s on you. I am very likely to drop the F Bomb… A LOT.
So there you have it. My first nonsensical article on my test site. Truth be told: It will likely be the article that is most sensical. 🙄
