This site is in fact only the test site for Bassic Sax. It is used to make sure that software updates, trials, or improvements don’t accidently cause an irreparable crash of the real Bassic Sax website.

While this site may generally contain all the same software of the real Bassic Sax, it doesn’t contain anywhere near the same content.

Bassic Sax.com is used to experiment. Period. Full stop.

Therefore there is a lot of nonsense, and things like: incomplete thoughts, Sppellling 😉 and grammatical mistakes totally unrelated photos and things that are not at all related to saxophones but likely related to tech, and to testing

(My apologies to all my English and Communications instructors for that incredibly-poorly done last paragraph. Yes, you did instruct me better. 😆 )

In short, this is not a site related to saxophones, and not edited all that carefully, since it is not intended as a public reference tool. 😉

My Favourite Cars

I’ve driven Volvos almost all my life. I have had a couple of these so long, that they have outlasted 3 of their mechanics. Now that is saying something about the longevity of the brand. 😉

I will have to dig out some photos of my cars that have long turned into tuna cans, but this is the list of cars I have owned:

1989	240 DL - 4 door	Graphite	5 speed manual	Was looking for a wagon for our move to NB. Found this instead. Amazing!! Competes with 77 245 for least gas consumption.	Still own it. Has Collector plates. Just over 100K. New car smell still.
1980	242 DL	Beige - repainted to red while we had it	5 speed manual (electronic OD)	Bought it as a winter car to save the 89 above ^^	Traded with my NB mechanic when I got a bass sax for his 745
1987	745 GLE	Gold	Automatic with OD	Got it for the sole reason of driving around my bass sax	Sold it back to my mechanic when we moved back to BC
1983	244 GL	Silver	5 speed manual (electronic OD)	My partner's car in NB. Pinstripe blue velour interior. Lovely.	Sold it before we moved, as it had rust on the body. Not bad for NB, but bad for here.
1991	240 DL	Gold	Automatic with OD	Bought it when we moved back to BC for my bass sax. CA car. Sucks gas like a V8.	Still own it. Has Collector plates.
1995	850 GLE	Teal	Automatic with OD	Grey velour interior. Very low mileage.	Sold to our friend. It now lives a life of leisure in Fort St. John.
1989	744 GLE	Gold	Automatic with OD	Sturdy. Reliable. Great car.	It is our everyday driver. Lives outside.
